Title: duplicate alert emails

Good morning ...

I am not sure if this is a bug with WC but ...  recently alert emails have come simultaneous in pairs ...  I just did a test email and received 2 similar emails at the same time.  Other than change WC alert parameters, nothing else has been changed.
any thoughts?

Mac OS 10.11.6
WC version 2.42

Sorry drewaz, WeatherCat is not duplicating what you describe here. Which email engine are you using?

Are they both to exactly the same address? If so, it could be a problem at that ISP.

Do you have a secondary address that gets forwarded to another (primary) address?

Do you have any other address that you could change to in WC? Duplicates from a completely different address domain would, at least, narrow down the location of the problem.

thanks for the replies ....
same exact email address
same exact email messages that arrive at the same time
no secondary addresses that are forwarded

I am going to change the email address in WC and see if that takes care of the problem!!!!!

so ....

I changed the email address in WC and did a test:  only got one
changed it back to the original email address and did a test:  got 2
so ....  I guess the problem is with my ISP ......
funny though that I don't get duplicate emails to that address from any source other than WC

Maybe your server doesn't trust 'computer generated' messages! [lol]
