Our very own Steve (http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?action=profile;u=11) is famous.
Here's a pic of his station on the Davis website. I hope they're paying you royalties, Steve!
Steve has one of the best websites (http://www.avon-weather.com) on here and apparently Davis noticed.

I knew you would make the big time!
And you do have a great website; two of them now that you building blocks with the Meteo template.
Congratulations.
Thanks for posting this DFW.

Wow, I had no idea that was on there. It is on this page: http://www.davisnet.com/case-study/gardeners-best-friend/ for anyone interested. They cut off my roof-mounted anemometer. I had several photos in the newsletter in 2011 or 2012, and an article about my soil station in another. That must have been one of the photos submitted for them.
Thanks for pointing it out, DFW!

Dear dfw, Blick, Steve,
Wow, I had no idea that was on there.
. . . .
I had several photos in the newsletter in 2011 or 2012, and an article about my soil station in another. That must have been one of the photos submitted for them.
Hmm, I'm sure Davis has some legalize that says anything you submit to them is basically theirs for whatever they see fit. Still for a small, privately held, company - that's hardly being polite. It isn't that hard to send an email saying they would like to use a photo submitted earlier. If nothing else, they might end up with a updated photo that would better suit their needs.
Davis just went down one notch in my book, :(

Agreed. That was the implication in my first post.

It has been several years now since I did the email/phone interview that included most of the photos submitted. I knew at the time that they were to be used for promotional purposes, and some were in the newsletter. I just didn't know that one was now being used on the redesigned site.
I gave permission, it was just a surprise seeing it.
