Ive had my OS WMR968 weather station sense 2005 and had no problems throughout besides few battery change and a few relocations in the yard however with our last cold nap (-9) my WMR968 has started acting up. I have some new Ni-MH 3.6V recharge able batteries on order (- a arm & a Leg) but I looking into getting a new weather station: The first one Im looking at is the OS WMR300 (they have a good sale going on right now $299) and the second is the Davis 6250. The biggest concern I have is that I havent been able to verify if my WeatherCat software is compatible with the OS WMR300? Any Feed back would be great! Thanks

You have read the little that's been said here:

If you are ready to buy now and want to use WeatherCat, go with Davis, but don't buy it from Davis or Amazon. Post back with the specific model if you want to go with Davis and we can recommend some sites to check out for discounted pricing.

Ok, after some feed back and some other recommended sites to visit im not so much interested in the OS WMR300 any more mainly because it doesnt sound like its going to communicate with weatherCat. So I found another weather system that I am interested in and would like to know if it will ever be compatible with weatherCat or any other insight or feed back. Looks like its made by weatherFlow(?) Sky, Air, and Breath system. Thanks

SRS,
The developer of WeatherCat, Stu, is on vacation this week so won't be able to respond to your questions on future compatibility of either model. Best wait to see what he has to say before making a decision.
No need for multiple threads on the same topic. We're a small community here and all read all of the threads, so your question won't me overlooked.

It is always helpful to include a link to any product one might be asking about.
Most of us are I am too lazy to use a search engine for something you probably already have found on the web. [blush] [rolleyes2] [goofy] Of course, that's one reason I have over 2,000 bookmarks! [banghead]

That's because you are not using the free PopClip application. Highlight the text of the product name, and PopClip pops up. From there, you can directly search, look up in a dictionary, cut/copy/paste, and about 100 other things. I truly use it 100+ times a day.
Give PopClip a try. Oh, you don't have it, so here's a link to save you from searching. ;) https://pilotmoon.com/popclip/

Thanks for the feed back and letting me know about Stu Ill wait and see what he has to say. Also thanks for informing me about posting in multiple threads. I thought there might be a specific individual designed to answer in each category or thread. I will also give popClips a try. Thanks again. ThU5:-)

Thanks for the link, Steve! Just what I need, another collection of thousands of links. lol(1) It would be great if it worked on mobile devices, that's my only complaint about URLM Pro. It works in all my desktop browsers so I never use any browser specific bookmarks functionality. But it doesn't work on the iDevices.
