Title: WC and Sierra

Updated to 10.12 about 24 hours ago, and now WC has lost connection to the station twice. If I either restart or force quit WC it will reacquire data and update ok. Is this an incompatibility issue? Anyone else having this occur?

and noted that Sierra reset my energy saving settings also. Changed them back to never sleep and never shut down hard drives and I'm up and running.

Now to see if this keeps up. Will report back.

is it possible that the lost connection is the fault of the station.  How are you connecting to that station?

Problem solved. It was as Bob said before that Sierra install changes the energy saving so that the computer sleeps. All is fine now.

I found a lot of things had changed, including software settings so you might want to check other apps.  Same happened with I went to IOS10  with my iPhone 6 Plus.
