If one image is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth a million? [rolleyes2] Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration... OTOH, don't forget you have a built-in movie maker that can record your iDevice as well as any part of your Mac screen. The file will be much larger than any text file, of course, However, seeing the steps you take to do something may be a lot easier than reading many steps with terms that might be misunderstood. Here's a short description on how to do this, at least in more recent versions of the OS:<How to present and record your iPhone or iPad on your Mac (https://www.macissues.com/2016/04/07/how-to-present-and-record-your-iphone-or-ipad-on-your-mac/)>, MacIssues, Topher Kessler
Dear X-Air, dfw, and WeatherCat technology documentation collectors,

Okay thanks. Not sure I'll ever use it but it is a nifty trick!
Cheers, Edouard [cheers1]
P.S. I went ahead and moved this topic to the "General Computing/Macintosh" topic so that people could find it more easily.
