Title: OS X 10.11.4 working fine with rec SiLabs USBtoUART driver
Post by: tizza on March 25, 2016, 06:35:34 AM
I just updated to 10.11.4 without a single hitch   [cheer]

The recommended USBtoUART in the PDF which is still the based off the June 24, 2015 driver has been updated/tweeked again on Feb 17, 2016, so don't get put off by the date saying June last year

I forgot to clear and re-install it but it wasn't a problem but I wouldn't recommend messing with El Capitan!

So I just found this forum!  I have also already made the plunge to El Capitan (ver 10.11.5) on a Mac mini and cant manage to get the USB driver to see my Davis Vantage Pro2 interface.  So any assistance would be great.  I did try the USB hub trick with no luck.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum! I know this is a dumb question, but can you confirm you are using the most recent driver?
