Title: This Year's first named Hurricane

Last hurricane that formed in January was in 1938! However, there was one that formed in late December 1954 that lasted until January 5, 1955.

I think HantaYo is safe from any <flooding (http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=1989.msg18134#msg18134)> caused by this one, however.

Dear X-Air and WeatherCat weather watchers,

It is an amazing development, especially since El Ni?o is supposed to suppress Atlantic hurricanes.
