Dear WeatherCat Davis owners and wannabes,
The May issue of Davis's electronic newsletter is out. You can view it here:
http://www.davisnet.com/news/enews/index.asp (http://www.davisnet.com/news/enews/index.asp)
Alas, if you were looking for a feast of weather and station related news, you are in only for more famine. This edition is definitely short on content as they have been. There is a section on station maintenance, but it isn't as good as our own information on the Wiki and the forum:
http://wiki.trixology.com/index.php/Station_Maintenance (http://wiki.trixology.com/index.php/Station_Maintenance)
So if you have anything you think you could contribute to the Davis E-news . . . definitely do it. They are really hurtin' for content. There is an email address listed at the bottom of the newsletter if you have something you think they could use.
Cheers, Edouard [cheers1]

yeah, it isn't high priority reading for me. But I did enjoy reading about the tornado. I don't care to test out my station in a tornado, but it is amazing to know that guy caught some of the data on his station. I had never thought about hail taking it out.

It can dent the sheet metal and break windshields on a car, the rain collector, or anything else will be no problem!
