I would like more specificity in selecting which email addresses to use for custom alerts. For example, I want WeatherCat to send me, and only me, a text message when a custom alert fires. I can do this using something like "XXX5550199@txt.att.net" as an email address. I don't want to broadcast the alert to all the user emails, just mine.

Dear Grand Poohbah,
I assume a welcome is appropriate! (http://www.canebas.org/Weather/LWC_forum/Custom_emoticons/welcome_smiley.gif)
You'll have to tell us how you got to be the Grand Poohbah ;)

If you want a quick fix for this you have all your WeatherCat emails sent to a single address and then use filtering rules on your email client to then forward the emails around depending on the subject or content. I use this to forward emails on evapotranspiration to the resident gardening expert without bothering her with all the other email related emails.
For a small investment of time, this works very nicely at least in my case. [bounce]
