Title: NOAA-style climate reports would be nice...

Hi Stu,

It would be great if WeatherCat could produce NOAA-style climate reports like these examples from WeatherLink (also produced by VWS)

WeatherLink and VWS produce them at every update.  Weather-Display and Cumulus produce them after midnight each day.  The preference would be for selectable update frequency (daily or with each update cycle).  Also having a last-month and last-year version available would be a plus :)

I know that some of the data is already presented other forms like STMONTHLY$ and STYEAROVERYEAR$ produce, but a STNOAAMO$ (current month) , STNOAAPRMO$ (prior month), STNOAAYR$ (current year), STNOAAPRYR$ (prior year) set would be really helpful.

Best regards,
Ken

Another vote for NOAA style monthly and yearly reports.  How about adding the option to export to data as well.

Another vote for the above. The only thing I miss from the Davis software.

Print these records out and you have a nice physical document for archival purposes.

Thanks folks.

Currently, daily and monthly reports are saved to your ~/Documents/WeatherCatReports folder at midnight each day (as PDF's) - not NOAA style, but can be printed for archival.

Cheers,
Stu.

Thought I'd push this request back to the top of the forum. I see that there are daily reports (and I presume I'll see a monthly report once WC has been running a month); however, I would really like to have a way to import daily min/max/averages for items of my choice into a spreadsheet or database. A NOAA report like what WeatherLink produced would be great; however, any .csv or spreadsheet compatible file where I could eliminate columns I don't need would be very helpful.

Just want to be added to the list of folks that also would like this feature.

As of version 1.2.0 WeatherCat can auto-produce a daily export of the hourly highs/lows etc to a .csv (Tools->Data Export). See http://wiki.trixology.com/index.php/Release_Notes for more info (or the manual).

We'll see more work in this area in the future.

Cheers,
Stu.
