If you haven't seen this, check it out! The HD camera is what really intrigues me. [cheer] [interesting]

Thanks for the link. The camera has great specs.
I'm still looking for a cheap one to add to my site. Awaiting delivery of one that looks like it might fit my needs (decent specs and cheap). Will report later.

I have received my Bloomsky unit. It only sends data to your IOS or Android device. It is in its infancy but I see major improvements on the way. Here is the current picture from it:

I like it. Thanks for sharing.

Image quality looks pretty good! The lens is almost a fish eye type, very wide-angle. Interesting little device for sure.

Here is a vid shot by it on Saturday. I hope it gets posted.

Dear pbeaudet and WeatherCat sky watchers,
Here is a vid shot by it on Saturday. I hope it gets posted.
It is a very nice looking video! Neat how the clouds march across the sky!
Cheers, Edouard [cheers1]

I received mine and want to warn a little:
1. quality With my unit the pressure sensor was broken on arrival. I used their contact page and mailed again after a few days. They respnded and will exchange the unit in July. One can find stations nearby using the app and I found numerous stations with the same pressure reading of 0. So it is not only my station.
2. You can NOT give a link to the film or the "device' screen to others. They have to install the app and register with (again) Facebook or a correct e-mail address.
3. you can not get your uploaded data in any form. This is a big drawback as others, example Netatmo, give you access to your data in a a csv file and or an api.
So my idea was to get the "it started to rain" message into my website and to have the last day movie also uploaded to my website or addressable by URL. Maybe even get the data to do some comparision between this and other devices.
As far as I can see there is no way to do that.
Compared to a basic weatherstation (Bloomsky has no wind no rain) the extra money gives you a nice picture and a movie once / day to look onto on your phone.

I am hoping that access to the data and video will improve with time. The temp is about 4-6 degrees warmer than the fan aspirated Davis unit. The barometer on mine works but there is no way to correct for altitude. Right now it is only usable on an android or IOS device.
It is still worth looking at for the price.
