I know there is a tag for Sunshine Hours and that Total Sunshine Hours for a month show up in the Statistics tool in the Year Over Year tab.
I have some questions:
- Is there anyplace that the Sunshine Hours for a specific day is reported? I can't find it. I know the sunniest day on record shows up in Statistics | Records, but I can't find where the Sunshine Hours are recorded by day.
- Are sunshine hours calculated from the solar radiation data? If so, how? If not, how are they calculated?

WeatherCat simulates a Campbell-Stokes sunshine recorder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campbell?Stokes_recorder) - it calculates whether the paper is burnt or not; if so it adds that time period to the sunshine hours.

Here's my analog version.

Steve, you are my hero. That is ridiculously cool.
Do you know if sunshine hours by day is available in a WeatherCat Report? I can't find one.

For some strange, inexplicable reason it isn't there - I'll add it to the feature request list - thanks for the spot [tup]

Hey! That's where my 9/16 socket went! ;) I forgot I was using it there. Thanks guys. You saw that I put it together for $76, when complete used ones go for $1500-$2000, so I don't think I'll be sending it your way, Stu.
