Hi again Dryside and WeatherCat fans,
If I add records to the Rain Editor where are they taken into account. I know they don't get Exported so are they used anywhere else I'm not seeing. I would like to see them get exported.
I may be wrong on this so once more Stu will need to chime in. However, my quick glance over how the rain editors works is to replace the total rainfall for a given day. If it does that, you cannot change the particular data entries during the day - how could it? The correction is for the whole day, not any particular moment in the day.
You could correct the rainfall during the day by editing the individual entries using the Data Viewer/Editor. Perhaps that is the better tool for your purpose.
Cheers, Edouard [cheers1]

Maybe a solution is a separate column for the Rain editor in the export and the value just goes in once per day on the last reading of the day. Then a person could handle it however they want from there.
The Data Viewer is an option but one would need to know the total that was collected for the day in order to figure out the difference. Could have both the windows open and use the Rain Editor to see the total for the day and then calculate the difference to be entered into the Data Viewer.
I guess I just want to know where WC takes advantage of the Rain Editor information and hope it can be incorporated into the export?
Basically I read rain reports for CoCoRaHS and a manual gauge is used. I want to use that as my official number.
I have see others ask for a Snow reporting area and I would like to see that as well.
