Dear WeatherCat scripters,
I came across a Macworld article by Jason Snell on how he uses AppleScript to automate a task related to extracting data from a web browser. Here is the URL to the article:
http://www.macworld.com/article/2105200/bad-applescript-safari-and-curling-urls.html (http://www.macworld.com/article/2105200/bad-applescript-safari-and-curling-urls.html)
He calls it "bad AppleScript," I would call it clumsy AppleScript, but there are some interesting ideas in his automation tool. If you ever wanted to automate grabbing data from the web, this might give you some ideas on how to do it.
Cheers, Edouard [cheers1]
