Brand new user of Davis Vantage Vue with Weather Link data logger and WeatherCat integrated with Mac iMac 27" running OS 10.9. I have established an account with Weather Underground but cannot connect via WeatherCat preferences because of Pwd/I.D. Error. I have successfully changed my Wunderground password 3 times. Have also deleted and rebuilt the Wunderground account but can't get WeatherCat to recognize the station. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance from the Sierra Foothills of California.

Not sure this will help, but I have a vague recollection of problems related to passwords that were using punctuation or something like that. We are supposed to try to come up with complex passwords, but many systems cannot handle them. Worse some passwords are accepted by some parts of the software and rejected elsewhere. So it is possible that Weather Underground will allow you to choose a password that the data upload software cannot swallow.
If you haven't already done so, try a password of only letters and numbers and see if that solves the problem.

Edouard is correct. Wunderground cannot handle more secure passwords. I had this exact problem several months ago and Wunderground tech support told me I could only use alphanumeric characters. Keep your password simple and it will work.
