WeatherCAT Tags question
« on: February 02, 2015, 03:25:27 PM »
Hi everyone:

I recently upgraded to the newest version of Weathercat and I was using the new Snowfall Editor.
I was trying to get those stats up on my site, which I did with no issues, save one.
When I try and use the seasonal stat it only shows this year? I realize that rainfall is set for an annual dump, but snowfall here in the NE USA would only be used from Oct:previous Year until April:Current year. (At least I hope we are done by April).
Snowfall Total: This Seasonal: STAT$SNOW:TOTAL:THISSEASON$
Anyhow, is there a way to get the snowfall seasonal total by constructing the web tag to display total snow season for this time frame?
I can't seem to find the correct answer?

Thanks for any help.

Hello Rich,

I solved this challenge as follows:

STAT$SNOW:TOTAL:2014-09-01/2015-04-30$ gives back the amount of snow in the defined period (the end date can be a future date!)
STAT$SNOWDAYS:TOTAL:2014-09-01/2015-04-30$ gives back the number of snow days.

You can take a look at the results on this site! It's in German, but I think you can see what I am pointing at.  ;)

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Reinhard

Hello Reinhard:

I followed your link, and yes, that was exactly what I was looking for.
The tags you defined worked perfectly. http://www.richlefko.com/Gauges/LWCGauges.shtml
Now I will have to remember to change the year on them next year.
Can't thank you enough for the help!!

Thanks

Rich
