Hi [mostlycloudy]
My name is Pat and I live in Woodley in Berkshire, SE England with my husband Steve.
I worked in Air Traffic Control at Heathrow until I retired four years ago, where part of my job involved being a qualified Met observer.I also ran training courses for new observers, and carried out annual assessments. I have always been interested in Met and decided to invest in a weather station as a hobby. I bought a Davis Vantage Vue a couple of months ago and use a Weatherlink IP datalogger with my Mac book Pro. I am very pleased with it and have finally got it up and running with Weathercat, and am sending information to Wunderground, Met Office WOW and CWOP.
This is all very new to me so I will be making lots of use of the forum for tips and ideas.
Many thanks for the help with the email setup

Great to have you (and Steve) join the forum, Pat. You'll find a wealth of Mac and Davis Instruments expertise here. We're not the biggest WX forum but guaranteed we are the friendliest. And unquestionably the most engaged weather software developer.
