SAVING THE INSTALLER FROM THE APP STORE
« on: December 11, 2015, 12:13:12 AM »
Ok Cat family
I have searched the web and can't get a good answer
Is there a terminal command to be able to save the installer app automatically when you down load an app from the App Store or some other way that it won't delete it after it installs?

thanks in advance

cheers

I don't know the answer to that, but I've dealt with the issue (Re: OS installs) by duplicating it to an external drive before running the process. When I updated both computers to El Capitan, I just mounted the remote computer's volume and copied across the network. But then, when I installed on each one, it deleted. However, I no longer needed either copy so it was all good.
