Bad data too often
« on: October 09, 2012, 09:52:10 PM »
Can anyone explain why I always have these straight lines, and often missing data.  My information being sent to WUnderground is fine.  I am using a Davis WeatherLinkIP.

Hi - welcome to the forum!

If you go to the Tools menu and open the log window, there might be messages there indicating what the problem is. Also check the Status window, in particular your comms quality. With a WeatherLink IP this should be 100% (or pretty close) - if it isn't check with the manual (page 53) for tips on using WeatherLink IP - note that the logger can really only do one thing at a time, so if something else is talking to it, or it's uploading to WeatherLink.com, WeatherCat won't be able to talk to it.
