Dear WeatherCat fans,
Andrew Revering, the fellow who has a PC version of a weather forecast model, has a new product: EuroWx. Unlike his other product, this is purely a web service:
http://www.eurowx.com/It provides an unprecedented 55+ maps generated from ECMWF data with forecasts out as far as 10 days for the 48 United States. This of course includes temperature, precipitation, snowfall, wind data and even severe weather indices.
You can sign up for a 7 day trial. After that, it will cost you around $8 a month for this info. If you join now, you can get an introductory rate of $6.95. I've signed up for the trial and it does look interesting. For example, in my case the ECMWF rain reaching our area on Sunday, while the National Weather Service has discounted this. It could be interesting way to get a "second opinion" on the forecast.
For your information . . . . .
Cheers, Edouard
