Long Forecast
« on: August 28, 2013, 03:11:48 PM »
I would like to see the Long Forecast rather than the Short Forecast in the daily forecast email. My thinking is that for those who have elected to receive this email, it's only another few bytes to add the missing details to the message. I realise this is not the highest priority suggestion so I will not hold my breath until I turn blue awaiting its implementation.

Cheers.

Hi Blick,
It should be present if available from the hardware - reports on a Vantage/Vue should look like:
Code: [Select]
WeatherCat Forecast Email

This email is sent just after 7 A.M., 4 P.M. and midnight daily. You can turn this feature off via the 'Send Forecast Email' option in WeatherCat's Email preferences.

Current Forecast:
Mostly clear with little temperature change.

Short Forecast:
Mostly clear.

User Text: WeatherBox

<END MESSAGE>

WeatherCat TimeStamp: 00:00:35 28-Aug-13

The 'Current forecast' bit is the long forecast.

Cheers,
Stu.
