Title: macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 update now available in isle 13
Post by: xairbusdriver on December 07, 2017, 02:33:22 PM
Just as a reminder, I think a "Combo" update is always safer and therefore better than an App Store updater. The former does a clean install. The latter asks lets updater  decide what parts you need to update. While the App Store updater usually works, I don't understand why we should trust the coders to know everything that's changed in our own set up. The "coders" and their quality control procedures haven't been running at 101% lately...

Dear X-Air, Blick, and WeatherCat troubleshooters,

Just as a reminder, I think a "Combo" update is always safer and therefore better than an App Store updater.

[wink] . . . . Oh yeah?  So does that mean you get 100% of the bugs that Apple intended?  Otherwise some of the bugs (http://www.canebas.org/WeatherCat/Forum_support_documents/Custom_emoticons/bug_nasty.png) might escape?   lol(1)

Link is broken.

Okay, here is the correct link:

Indeed X-Air your text expander software is getting tripped up again by the way the forum software attempts to "fix" the URL.

. . . . now available in isle 13

 [wink]  . . . . Could it be the reference to isle 13 would be a Freudian slip?  . . . . Nah, . . . . . could be!!! . . . .  [lol2]

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Link is fixed.

I think it's becoming obvious that Apple should have skipped any reference to "13"! [banghead]

Hello Folks,
I am up on the latest *13* - 10.13.2. And except the month *13* bug I am happy with it.

Dear X-Air, Reinhard, and WeatherCat "knock wood" types, . . . . .

I think it's becoming obvious that Apple should have skipped any reference to "13"! [banghead]

[wink] . . . . Sir, are you insinuating that silly nonsense that a mere number could bring about bad luck?  Aren't we all the products of a modern scientific and technological society? . . . . . .  (http://www.canebas.org/WeatherCat/Forum_support_documents/Custom_emoticons/scholarly_teacher.gif)

Why we have nothing to fear - but fear itself!
. . . . . . so long as we have our lucky shamrock!! . . . (http://www.canebas.org/WeatherCat/Forum_support_documents/Custom_emoticons/lucky_shamrock.gif) . . . .  lol(1)

Seriously, I was a bit surprised that Apple was so bold as to actually release a macOS 10.13 . . . . . I do hope that finally lurned them! (http://www.canebas.org/WeatherCat/Forum_support_documents/Custom_emoticons/computer_sock_it_to_me.gif)

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]
