I'm not familiar with the Weathersleuth systems (which seems to be identical to the Ambient Weather WS-1400-IP) but it is not on the list of supported stations (https://trixology.com/weathercat/).

Weathersleuth doesn't have a console and seems to be designed to publish data directly on Wunderground so I'm not sure how WeatherCat would be able to pull the data from the station.

It does appear to me to be vague on some key issues.   There is no description of the hardware interface.  The closest they come to this is this phrase:  "the receiver module plugs directly into your modem/router so your PC or MAC does not need to remain on."  The only common networking technology that requires plugging in a cable is Ethernet, but they could have specified that is the interface they are using.  An alternative would be a WiFi interface that doesn't require any cables at all.

The description also states: "Direct internet publishing.  Receiver module connects directly to your modem/router so your PC or MAC does not need to remain on.  Data is automatically sent to Wunderground.com (note: indoor temperature and humidity are only available remotely from the WunderStation iPad application)"  So there is absolutely no way to get any data directly from the station.  WeatherCat cannot access the data at all.  There isn't a console which would allow you to look at the weather conditions immediately.  To see what are your local conditions, you would need to point a web browser at your Weather Underground site.  That does have some advantages.  Any device with web access could be used.  But the downside is that you need a working Internet connection and Weather Underground also needs to be working.  As reported in multiple places on this forum, Weather Underground reliability has been poor in recent months and doesn't seem to be completely resolved at this time.  I would definitely give the matter some thought as to whether or not you want to depend exclusively on Weather Underground to get data from your personal weather station.
