Dear Weatheraardvark and WeatherCat troubleshooters,
Did a screen shot of showing the browser image, the Weathercat settings and the no screen.
Unfortunately something happened to your screenshot. It has been scaled to such a small size that It cannot be read. Could you please send us the original screenshot taken by OS X directly?
Also, now that you have a banner up it is clear that you have a very nice Mac with a retina display. WeatherCat doesn't run properly with retina displays. Please quit WeatherCat, find the application file and use the
Get Info menu item of the Finder (which you'll find under the
File menu.) It will produce a window that will look something like this:
There will be an item somewhere in that window that has a check box saying: "run at low resolution." Please check that box and then start WeatherCat again. Unfortunately I cannot show you exactly what it looks like because I have older Mac without a retina display.
It might not help you with your webcam problem, but it will cause the banners and other WeatherCat displays to be generated in the correct size. Given that your webcam problem has something to do with images, it isn't beyond the realm of possibility that making this change will solve that problem as well.
Hang in there, problems do get solved eventually. I had one that took years!
Cheers, Edouard
