Harvey (and it ain't no rabbit)

<< < (2/5) > >>

TechnoMonkey:
Just now getting hit by the first band of rain.

xairbusdriver:
This map doesn't look good for getting the 'rabbit' moving to the east. Thanks to the massive High pressure ridge to the north and east of you. Maybe the puny one to your northwest will drop south and grow. Hang in there. Let us know if you lose Internet... oh, wait... [banghead]http://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/basicwx/92fndfd.gif

xairbusdriver:
Hope the 'monkey' made it through the hurricane OK. The storm became much stronger much faster than predicted. Worse, the rain may continue for several days.Windyty Display

Steve:
I'm assuming his electric is out. Hoping for the best!

Blicj11:
Two of our children live in Houston. Both reported lots of rain overnight (more than 5 inches (~13 cm) with an additional 40-50 inches (102-127 cm) forecast over the next few days. That is a devastating amount of rain, but the electric mains are still on this morning. Way too early to know how this is going to turn out.
