Welcome "Skagit Weather"
« on: July 05, 2015, 03:59:40 PM »
I see the Trixology homepage asks us to welcome our newest member aboard. Since "Skagit Weather" apparently hasn't found this section of the forum yet, I guess we can surprise him.   [tup]

Welcome "Skagit Weather!" You've joined a great bunch of Mac-using folks running the best Mac weather software on the market.

It appears Skagit has his station set up in Bay View, Washington...not far from the Padilla Bay...midway between Seattle and Vancouver.

Welc0me AboaRd, Skagit Weather! Hope you find this board as helpful and friendly as I have! Also hoping that you have some images on your site! That's one beautiful section of the country! [tup]

Is an "ambush welcome" okay? . . . . (Re: Welcome "Skagit Weather")

Dear Felix, X-Air, and WeatherCat welcome wagon . . .

I see the Trixology homepage asks us to welcome our newest member aboard. Since "Skagit Weather" apparently hasn't found this section of the forum yet, I guess we can surprise him.   [tup]

. . . .

Well, I do approve of the friendly welcome!  . . . . but . . . .

 ;)  . . . . . Is it really "kosher" to welcome a new member by . . . . ambush!

Cheers, Edouard

We could contact him by a PM. If he asked for email notifications, he wouldn't even have to come back here. I think you get a small modal window when you get a PM, otherwise, he might not even see the 'message for you, sir!' when/if he does make another visit.

Extra points, if you ever installed the "Message for you, sir!", British accented, sound file in Eudora! [cheer]

Exactly, Blick. Just after being shot by an arrow with an important note attached from Swamp Castle.

"Please, please, please come and rescue me. I'm in the tall tower of Swamp Castle."

Extra points if you can remember the rest of the note, because I can't.

 [lol2]

Welcome Skagit Weather!

10 points for that one! The Swamp Castle segment was the funniest part of the movie.

Sorry Brothers "B" re-read the extra points criteria. OTOH, if you never used Eudora, you probably didn't add this sound clip.

Wait! After conferring with the judges, we've decided you could both have a free cup of java at the nearest Starbucks, but you'll have to do that at the same one. You'll also still have to pay the cover charge... five bucks, I think... Congratulations on the consolation prize! [cheer]

BTW, if the store in Ash Flat is too crowded, drive on over to my area and I'll throw in a glass of water! [tup]

Stay tunes for the next jackpot! Right after the next new member announcement!
