Dear WeatherCat observers of the seasons turning,
For good and bad reasons, the autumn colors haven't been very impressive here in Northern California. Because of the unusually stormy weather, the leaves fall as soon as they turn. Also, many trees are slow to turn. It isn't very cold yet and the growing season around here can run into December. Still here is a tree that usually makes a nice display:
That is probably about as nice a photo as I'll manage to take this year. So if you folks can do better -
