I thought I was going to get great sunset picture that evening but it fizzled.  It clouded completely over and no color at all.

Inspiring photos. Not much to put in a photo around here lately - fog and rain. Sigh.

Dear WeatherCat shutterbugs,

 [wink] . . . I don't know what's da' matta' with ya' . . . . you're lazy!! . . .  [biggrin]

Ya' see, even my sister is getting into the act!

She took this photo with my old Canon DSLR that became a "hand-me-down."

So be bold and get your camera out at sunrise and sunset!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Snow flurries the last few days.  As the Stark's say,

A more placid scene (Re: Moods of the sky .. 2015-16)

Dear WeatherCat shutterbugs,

We are in between storms once more but this morning the sky had a more placid look with just a hint of drama:

Just some more inspiration for you shutterbugs to see what you can squeeze out of your weather instruments, . . .

Cheers, Edouard

Weather in the southeast USA has improved. I might actually be able to snap a photo or two now. Hopefully I can capture something good to look at. Appreciate the photos already uploaded.

An in-between mood (Re: Moods of the sky .. 2015-16)

Dear WeatherCat shutterbugs,

Alas, the conditions have been dry and boring lately.  Not much to photograph and we are already over 1" behind for November's rainfall.  However, I did manage to snap this photo this morning:

Sure hope the weather turns "interesting"  [rain2] around here soon - we really need it!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Dear WeatherCat shutterbugs,

It's been a while since we've had a photo on this thread, so here is another photo taken by my sister with my old Canon DSLR:

 ;) . . . . I suppose it makes sense, women are supposed to really like pink! . . .  [biggrin]

Dear WeatherCat shutterbugs, . . . .

 ;) . . . . Shucks!  So you didn't go for Sis's pink stuff - huh? . . .  [biggrin]

Okay, how about this photo taking by your's truly? . . . .

Certainly has a bit more drama in this scene . . . .

Okay, so who's next!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Dear WeatherCat shutterbugs, . . .

The skies even around here have been utterly boring.  However, this morning we had something of a display:

Something for you'all to enjoy if the weather in your part of the world is sufficiently extreme that attempting a photo like this would risk hypothermia! .   [freeze]

Cheers, Edouard

I was trying to capture some of - or at least look at - the Geminid meteor shower. Saw a couple of star shots, but no one got caught by the camera.  :(

The weather instruments, on the other hand, were pretty stable - even with the Milky way spinning around them. [lol]
