Couple of threads seem to be missing.
« on: February 10, 2014, 03:46:29 AM »
No matter which link I use, I can't seem to load

http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=1165.msg9761;topicseen#msg9761

or
http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=1165.msg9764;topicseen#msg9764

I'm using Safari and it just loads a white page with nothing in it and the arrow circle at the right end of the URL field is there, indicating the load has finished.

Me too. It started to happen when I posted a reply yesterday. The reply had a 404 KB jpg attached but it never showed up.

Fixed.

For some reason, the dimensions of the last image uploaded was too big for the forum to resize (there was no error logged in the forum logs however :(  - looks like a forum bug).

The resize option has been turned off now, and the thread is visible again.

Sorry about that. I knew the dimensions were huge but I thought the forum software would resize. I was more concerned about the size of the jpeg than its dimensions. Now I know. This was the first time I tried to upload a picture taken with my new camera (Canon Rebel SL1).

I just resized the offending jpeg to 1728x1152. It's still too big but way better than before when all you could see without downloading it was one LED Christmas light. I'm learning.

No worries, it wasn't anyones fault - just a bug somewhere in the forum software.

With regards to warnings when posting attachments, you'll be warned about the file size being too big (I think it's 1 megabyte, with a maximum of 4 per post and total attachment size per post of 2 megabytes), but not the actual dimensions of the image.
