Anybody else having problems with 'WC Twitter Uploader'
« on: November 26, 2013, 11:33:24 PM »
Dear WeatherCat AppleScript fans,

This afternoon, Twitter has started to ask me to authorize the J.C. Computing ASTwitterLibrary to upload for me to Twitter.  I had to go through this authorizing process once and it worked okay ever since.  Alas today, I've been forced go through this authorizing process several times this afternoon and every time, I cannot complete the process fast enough to avoid a timeout error.

If I restart WC Twitter Uploader it works okay and uploading to Twitter resumes.

I suspect that this is some sort of issue with Twitter's own server software.  However, I would be interested to find out if anyone else is having problems like this.

Please do post similar experiences . . .

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Steve

Nope. Sending every two hours plus testing without needing authorization. I haven't seen that since the first time I launched the script a year or more ago.

Howdy Steve and WeatherCat AppleScript fans,

Nope. Sending every two hours plus testing without needing authorization. I haven't seen that since the first time I launched the script a year or more ago.

Well, I don't know why it started, but it stopped almost as fast.  By the end of the day no more problems.

 ;) . . . Must be gremlins!!  . .
