How to access WeatherCat programmatically?
« on: October 01, 2012, 07:17:36 PM »
Dear all!

I want to write a software for Mac OS X with Xcode Cocoa to access WeatherCat data.

I know this can be achieved by AppleScript. For some reason I don't like AppleScript.

There must be another way to communicate with WeatherCat as we can see by WeatherCat Client and the iOS App.

Can someone help me with this?

Thanking you in advance for your help!

Best wishes

Thomas

A Xcode 4.5 WeatherCat SDK would be very sweet.

Hi Stu,

thank you so much for providing the SDK!

On page 28 WeatherCat SDK PlugIn Manual:

---

Using The Station Simulator

It is sometimes useful, especially for testing purposes, to have a station where all channels are valid and active.
The SDK is supplied with a station driver that provides this facility. To use the simulator, open the ?Station
Simulator? folder of the SDK and drag the ?StationPlugins? folder next to your WeatherCat application.

---

Unfortunately I can't find a "Station Simulator" folder in the SDK download?

Do I miss something?

Thanking you in advance for your fast help!

Cheers Thomas

Answered in your other post - http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=493.msg4368#msg4368

(Basically it got missed out whilst packaging up the SDK - it'll be out this weekend)

Cheers,
Stu.
