Dear WeatherCat fans,
I've run some tests with the recommended implementation for AppleScripts that can use any version of Growl and . . . gotten one report that it doesn't work on either 1.2 or 1.3.
Well, at least it is . . . consistent! This code works fine on my machine running Growl 1.2 and it is
supposed'ta work on even the new Growl (1.3) that is on the Mac App store. I've written a tiny AppleScript application that is supposed to work anywhere, even if you don't have Growl installed at all. If you don't have Growl, it will put up a dialog box saying so. Otherwise it should produce a small Growl notification.
Running it couldn't be simpler: just double-click. It will run anywhere, no need to park it in special folder. Could folks give it a quick try and tell me what happens? I'm especially curious to know if it works with the new Growl.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!!
Cheers, Edouard
