WeatherCat ready versions of my AppleScripts
« on: February 25, 2012, 07:06:35 PM »
Dear WeatherCat fans,

Now that da' Cat is out of da' Bag . . . there will be folks who are addicted to my AppleScripts feeling torn between two worlds.  Worry not!  [bounce].  I have been working to make my AppleScripts work with WeatherCat as well LWC.  The latest versions of my AppleScripts can be found on the resources web page I set up: http://www.canebas.org/LWC/.

Since these scripts have been announced on MacWeather.net, I think I'll keep the announcements and main communications there.  The forum where you'll find them is here: http://www.macweather.net/viewforum.php?f=12.  I'll make adjustments as the process unfolds.

The scripts listed are "half-breeds."  They will work with either LWC or WeatherCat.  However, WeatherCat incorporates some important improvements to the AppleScript interface that make LWC obsolete.  My hope is that everyone will embrace WeatherCat and that I'll be able to switch to exclusively developing scripts for WeatherCat.

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]
