Hey Stu, what are you doing with that Yosemite background screen? That operating system is so 2015.  :)

Steve! I hope the police don't drive by and see what looks like a horrific crime scene!! :o

It was self defense,  I swear!

Here's mine right now - it normally looks very much like this.

OK, now I don't feel bad about having a bunch of random, disorganized windows. :)

Steve, do you ever have trouble displaying the Floating Graphic?

Nope. I know that you've had problems, but I've never had a lick of trouble keeping it placed where it is supposed to be or fail to appear. Been like that since I first installed WeatherCat several years ago.

The promised "Video at 10"! Got side-tracked by updating my wife's MBP to the new OS version...

I must admit it's good to see that others keep their virtual desktops as cluttered as my real one! :o [lol]

Here's my mini's Desktop (via Screen Sharing):Sorry 'bout those ducks cluttering it up... :P

Thanks for the instructional, Xair! ? I did not know that. Now I can prank my brother's new iMac and sit back and snicker.

I guess that could come in handy for a point of sale system with the duck feet (err. foot) of the iMac nailed (err. bolted) to a wall.

"That'll be 25 cents please. Your popcorn will be done in 5 more minutes. This new microwave is a lot faster than that old one."

Somehow, that's what every one thinks when they see this capability. I'm sure that the sense of humor at Apple had nothing to do with this, of course. I think it just fixes the problem when Apple went from horizontal boxes ( II, IIx, IIci, some Quadra models, etc) to the vertical boxes (Power Mac G3, other Quadra models, etc), I mean, the poor cpu never knew which way was "up"! Lol. Seriously, it's a development machine and I need it to be stable, thus it's normally running the very last update to the previous version of OS X.

How do you display the custom gauges like that, without the "window" around them?
I have only found the way to open them is through the menu tools - custom gauges - some gauge and then click on the little arrow at the top to hide the settings, but that leaves the three mac-window-dots and the window frame visible.

Im curious. ???

Try a double-click on a custom gauge.
 ;)

Ohh, before I forget: Another double click on the gauge returns you with the *window* around.  ;)

I am afraid my russian is a bit rusty, xair.  ;D
