Did someone checked the compatibility between Weathercat and macOS Catalina?

First things first: Welcome casabastiano!
I cannot answer your question, because my machine running WeatherCat is only capable to run HighSierra. :-[ So wait for the brave ones that dare to update - and their reports. :)

WeatherCat is already a 64 bit app. Some have reported that there may be 32 bit code in some of its auxiliary code (http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=2999.msg29238;topicseen#msg29238), however. I'm sure by the time I install Catalina macOS 10.15 (sometime next year), we will know for sure.

WeatherCat should be ready for Catalina. Alas, we haven't gotten any reports from someone running the public beta of Catalina testing WeatherCat and giving it the all-clear. Since there could be any number of unexpected glitches that would nonetheless be very painful, I would recommend not upgrading on any computer that you truly depend on or if your WeatherCat data collection is very important to you.
On the other hand, if anybody has a available computer that can be ungraded to Catalina and could be used to make a test run of WeatherCat - by all means please do!

Absolutely! I've tried watching cat video on my iPhone, never again!! I am definitely waiting until it is completely possible on Catalina macOS 10.15 before updating!! [cheer] ThU5:-) cmu:-)

I've been running Catalina for the last three days. No problems with WeatherCat.

Working fine here, but I don't have a lot of background stuff running. I also have Norton 360 and with that WC works.
I suggest doing a clean install, that is clean out all junk running inthe background before you take the leap. Really, though, I can't see a lot of change with Catalina like I did with Mojave. Sure they split iTunes up into 3 apps but I just don''t see an improvement.
Perhaps later stuff will come along and this is the platform. My biggest angst is that my scanner program for my all in one, doesn't work and the software comapny is being a dick about it. but I willl find a solution.

It must be Fujitsu. I have the ScanSnap S1500M, and I had to fool the printer into thinking it was a newer model last year for Mojave to work. Since it is 32 bit, and Fujitsu said they aren't updating old software, a perfectly good $400 scanner would be a door stop.
ScanSnap is my only 32 bit application, so I am testing ViewScan and ExactScan as a replacement. Expensive at around $100, but a lot cheaper than a new scanner! Good luck!
I converted my laptop to Catalina yesterday without any problems. I'll be holding off on the iMac.

Thanks for the Catalina reports. I'm holding off here. Going to buy a new iMac this fall and will just wait until then to move WeatherCat over.

I received an email from Houdah Software this morning, with an interesting comment:
"MacOS Catalina also stands out as a release that adds few new features. It appears that for once this upgrade has removed or broken more features than it adds. Unless you need the new features and have the hardware that these require, there is no pressing need to upgrade."
And this might prove problematic. I use Alfred for my Spotlight substitute, so I'll have to look to see if they have a similar concern.
"HoudahSpot 5.0.10 has been updated to work with macOS 10.15 Catalina.
Catalina, however, does add a significant restriction. It no longer allows third-party applications to use the Spotlight index for searching Apple Mail messages. Even after you grant Full Disk Access to HoudahSpot, it will not be allowed to search your mail messages."
I'm not in any rush to upgrade...

Good to know that WeatherCat will work with Catalina.
However, the small WeatherCat client version 1.6.1 that I use here is still in 32 bits and will not work in Catalina (which is 64 bits).
Is there an updated version of the WeatherCat client ?

I have Houdah Spot that was part of a bundle. But I haven?t really fiddled with it much. Alfred does everything I need. I don?t even use many of its features.

A 64-bit version of WeatherCat Client (version 2.0) can be downloaded from here: https://trixology.com/weathercat/
Click on the link and scroll down to WeatherCat Miscellaneous Files, where you will find a download link that contains the latest version of the Client. I believe this Client was released with WeatherCat 3.0.

No , it is Brother.. Oh Brother! I found an app PDF Scanner works with some fiddling,but it works. The printers both work, but some developers have either let it slip by them or don't give a bunny's butt. But the software works just fine for WC right now.
