Hi Stu,
From Network Utilities I pinged my Davis' IP and this was the result...looks like the iMac can "see" the station...but WC cannot.

Ping has started?

10 packets transmitted, 10 packets received, 0.0% packet loss

I guess my next step will be to disable WeatherLink uploads and reboot the station and see what happens...will post results once I've tried that.

OK, for whatever reason...this is what worked.

After pinging successfully (previous post)...

(I'd already disabled WEatherlink uploads before pinging...)

I disconnected the ethernet cable from the back of the WLIP unit.
Disconnected external power, then removed batteries.
Waited about 5 minutes then reinstalled batteries...reconnected the external power supply.
Once all readings were being displayed again, I reconnected the WLIP ethernet cable.
Restarted WCat and now, for whatever reason, everything is happy again!!!    [cheers1]

Now....onto trying to get custom alerts to work.  I have the same issue as before...user text will not hold once entered.
I'll work on that some more...that's another thread though.
