Hello,
i'm having an issue with the last WC running on OS X 10.11.1 (El Capitan)
OS X Release: 10.11.1 (15B17c)
WC release: 2.2.1 (Build 110)
The Mac Book Pro with OS X 10.11.1 is always switched on (day and night:24 h a day..) ad it's responsible of managing my WeatherStation... when i go bed i leave the Mac Switched On and WC Running (with the ICON on the dock bar showing the conditions..) for some unknown reason when i get back from work (the day after) i find WC crashed with the little pop up windows that tell me something going wrong... so i click the "Restart WC" button and everything work fine again... until the day after when i find the app crashed with the information window ...
(that problem started after the Upgrade to OS X 10.11.1....at the moment i don't remember if i had the same problem with OS X 10.11, but i'm sure i don't have the problem with Yosemite... in this last case the app never crashed!!)
Thanks in advance for any suggestions... / Advice....
Bye
Marzio
ps
if it could be useful today i can send you the entire log of the Error....

Hi Stu and Wc family
This has been my best run with WC since updating to Yosemite
WeatherCat B110 has been running for: 20 days, 12 hours, 23 minutes - 761951 good data elements have been received from the weather station during this time and with no errors of any kind. I have been running 24 Custom gauges and All Custom Graphs and more was hoping for the that 1 million good data but didn't quite make it said something about custom webs
Have now installed the latest version and will see how long I can get it run
Thanks Stu for a great product
cheers
[cheers1]

Dear Randall and WeatherCat "marathon runners, . . . "

Great job Randall! I wish I could get my MacBook to manage to run for 20 days. It is very hard to do with all the memory leaks.
Thanks Stu for a great product
I definitely second the motion!! [tup]
Cheers, Edouard [cheers1]

Another Long-runner!
Not as long as you Randy, but long enough for me - it seems WC toughens a bit.
Attached some screenshots.
Cheers,
Reinhard

I have experienced 2 crashes/shutdowns of WC 2.2.1 since updating El Capitan. I didn't think much of the first one, but when WC went offline for the 2nd time 2 days later, I went back to capture what I could of the console log. The primary message indicated an orderly shutdown due to a fatal error Sunday evening:
10/4/15 8:20:30.763 PM WeatherCat[10471]: Fatal error in WeatherCatDataManager createLocation - (no path) Couldn't create data set. WeatherCat terminating...
There were no console entries for WC in the User Diagnostic Reports. I've attached the results of a console log search for Sunday. The only entries are for the 4 minute period leading up to the shutdown. I have WatchDog enabled, but it is not catching this shutdown and relaunching WC - perhaps because it doesn't appear to be a true crash.
I had no problems with 2.2.1 on Yosemite. The only issue I had with WC when updating to El Capitan was the need to update the Keyspan serial driver for the old Davis Weather Monitor station I'm using. WC is set to capture data every 5 minutes and the Data Viewer does not show any significant gaps in the relevant timeframe; most likely because WC downloaded historical data stored in the weather station console when I relaunched WC this morning.
Any thoughts Stu or anyone?

It's the same issue as reported at:
http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=1858.msg16637#msg16637
A controlled shutdown because of filesystem issues.
Could you go to the above thread and post your config as requested there?
Thanks [tup]
