Title: WeatherCat Version 2.0.1 Released
Post by: Administrator on November 15, 2014, 06:27:54 PM
We are very pleased to be able to announce that WeatherCat version 2.0.1 is now available!

Changes in this release include:

1. Custom gauges no longer have a translucent background.
2. Updated German localisation courtesy of Reinhard Unterwurzacher.
3. Custom gauge web-tags should now work on OS X 10.7.5 ? previously a blank image would be rendered.
4. Added support for WeatherCloud (Preferences->Online->Additional Services).
5. Fixed an issue whereby a version warning would be logged when WeatherCat launched on 10.10 or later.
6. Snow in year over year stats will now not count for dates prior to the date of the first snow entry.

As always, WeatherCat 2.0.1 (Build 39) is available for immediate download from our WeatherCat page at: http://trixology.com/weathercat/

You're welcome :)

Note that it was build 39 that went out (to rename the WeatherCloud password/key fields in the WeatherCloud window).

Any "guesstimate" when the DST issue will be squashed, Stu, since V2 builds seem to be coming out on a frequent basis? It's causing the historical daily Data Viewer info to start at 2300 hours instead of 0000 hours. And then for some reason, the daily info ends at 0000 hours on some days (which end up being a 25-hour day) yet on other days it stops at 2300 hours. And, of course, this bug also screws up the statistical Query feature when the time in the Result box is off by an hour from what's listed on the Data Viewer for the day. But that's not consistent either, some Query outputs are accurate while others are in error by an hour (? a minute or two).

I've forwarded screen shot examples in the past but can shoot off more if required so you can get this one solved. It's more than just an irritant for folks who use the Data Viewer Export file for data manipulation. A day needs to be 24 hours and the recorded times need to be accurate.

I'm running Build 39...just looked at the historical data from 14 and 15 November and the problems I outlined above still exist.

Thanks for the improvements Stu. One minor note regarding Weathercloud is posted here: http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=1251.msg12439#msg12439
