Saratoga AJAX/PHP V3 template scripts version checker...
« on: August 07, 2012, 08:12:04 PM »
I've added some functionality to the check-fetch-times.php V1.06 script to allow you to easily check your V3 installed template scripts versus the 'current' script versions in the distribution files so you can see if you need to do some updating.

Note that not all the template files are checked with the script, only the ones that normally do not require user customization, and none of the image-type files nor weather tags files are checked (as they don't currently include version information).

V3 template users, use the updates tool page for 07-Aug-2012 and your Base/Plugin combination to get the check-fetch-times.php script V1.06.

Install it on your site, then browse to check-fetch-times.php?show=versions on your site to run the tool.
The tool will download a manifest file to your cache directory and use it to compare to the versions it finds in key template files on your website, then give you a recommendation on what to update and how to do the query on the updates page.

Best regards,
Ken
