Hi, I recently had to replace my 2014 Davis Envoy and while the newer unit transmits the basic weather data the system 'hangs' when I open the 'Station Hardware Options' window. Clicking on the battery power test sends the command, according to the log, but never completes. The only way to get WeatherCat operational again is to close and restart WC.
So two requests please
- investigate what changes are needed to support the latest Device Envoy - I have requested details of changes from Davis and will add to this post if I every get a response.
- either add or shorten timeouts to commands so the the system is not hung by a failing command
Thanks for a great product that has worked well for years. I am running WC 3.1.3 on a 2014 iMac running Big Sur 11.6.5 with latest USB/Serial converter driver
