Hello from Norway!
« on: December 20, 2013, 10:13:29 AM »
Hello everyone, I am Robert (you can call me Rob) from Norway, the country with a lot of weather (makes the weather hobby even more fun). I have been on Weather Display for about 6 years with PC. A couple of weeks ago I bought an iMac. WD supports MAC, but I am a simple user and I didn?t manage the switch to MAC on WD. And I soon realized that support for MAC users wasn?t top priority. After some googling I quickly found Weather Cat.

Of course WD has its benefits, but simplicity is an important benefit on WC. WC seems very user friendly compared to WD. And I also fell for WC only supporting MAC OS. But no weather application is perfect, so if I find something to pick on, I will speak out.

Rob

Welcome to the WeatherCar forum Rob. I was in Norway once, if Oslo counts.

Dear Rob and WeatherCat welcome wagon,

Rob welcome to the WeatherCat forum!

of course WD has its benefits, but simplicity is an important benefit on WC. WC seems very user friendly compared to WD. And I also fell for WC only supporting MAC OS. But no weather application is perfect, so if I find something to pick on, I will speak out.

WeatherCat is more user-friendly that apparently all of its competition, but it is extremely powerful nonetheless.  If you cruise around to see what some of us have done, you'll get some idea of its capabilities.  From first-rate web sites to controlling your environment based on changes in the weather, WeatherCat is a very capable platform to connect weather phenomena to technology.

If you have any questions, by all means ask!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]
