I was asked by a user considering moving to WeatherCat, if it is possible to use WeatherCat as an alternative to WeatherDisplay for use with the HomeWeatherStation-template. That template is designed and developed by BrianUnderdown https://weather34.com/homeweatherstation/ and he supports the Meteobridge version of that template himself.
I already support the WeatherDisplay version for him at http://wd34.weather-template.com/
My question:
Has the CGI upload changed since 2012, as that is the last version of the documentation I found. I could use the FTP upload as I do for the Leuven-Template, but I prefer a "lighter" HTTP protocol as described in the manual on page 116/117
If you are unfamiliar with HWS or weather34, I attach a screenshot.

Sorry to answer here, because I dont know the answer to your question, but I would love to have support for HWS for WeatherCat.
It would be even greater to have on straight API support for HWS inWeatherCat. Maybe the developer can do this?

I don't know for sure, but I believe CGI uploading has not changed from the manual. I don't use it but Stu did a pretty thorough edit of the manual for WC 3.0 and he didn't change the CGI section.

Well then we have to use a normal FTP upload as the CGI does not contain all fields.
Will make a few tests this month and see how it goes.

Let us know how this turns out for you.

I love the Weather34 template. I switched over to Meteobridge just so I can have the option to use it.

The first beta of the WeatherCat version is on-line at http://wd34.weather-template.com/pwsTEST/
As most insiders know this template is based on a 2017 version of weather34 for WeatherDisplay developed by Brian Underdown.
It is maintained and enhanced by me since January 2019, all info at http://wd34.weather-template.com/ .
It has NOT the same CSS as the current weather34 versions for MB (by Brian Underdown) or Cumulus/WeatherCat by Ken True.
I decided first to add all other scripts such as weather-warnings (EU, Canada and USA) and other forecasts f.i. WXSIM.
