Hi All,

Just commissioned my new Davis Vantage Pro 2 wireless station with USB data logger for my Mac 27"! All working well and very pleased I moved up in the technology world with this fantastic equipment. WeatherCat is processing information very quickly compared to the old WH1810 machine.
Looking forward to tidying up the cabling etc once I am happy all is operating seamlessly! Thanks for all the advice which made a decision a lot easier.

Regards to all!

JT

I like it! I'm sure you will too. Are you going to run WeatherCat 2.0 Beta?

Congrats, JT!
One suggestion: If I were you, I would lift the anemometer at least one meter higher to avoid false readings of wind direction. Maybe with something similar the Davis Tripod like I have done:

Was the question ever answered about using the Davis IP data logger with an Apple Airport Express? I'd like to move my Davis console to a more convenient location (away from my router) if the Airport Express is a reliable alternative.

Yes, Davis IP works with Airport Express (Re: Davis Vantage Pro2 upgrade)

Dear Felix and WeatherCat network maintainers,

Was the question ever answered about using the Davis IP data logger with an Apple Airport Express? I'd like to move my Davis console to a more convenient location (away from my router) if the Airport Express is a reliable alternative.

The short answer is: yes.
