Sadly it was not visible from my point of view - the mountains around were too high so the moon rised to visibility after 2 AM - the show was over at this time.

Now you tell us! We left Budapest Friday Noon. If we'd known about the Eclipse, we might have arranged to stay a few more days!

Just returned from a river cruise where we met a couple from Carbondale, Illinois. We told them we'd be visiting them when the Jan, 2019 eclipse passes through their town. Hope they don't move before that date
