iOS Client bug

(1/2) > >>

awilltx:
Have noticed a problem with max/min values on temperatures and pressure on iPhone and iPad apps. Not sure when this started happening, but I recently upgraded to v2.41 on WC. Screenshots from iPad attached, but seeing this on dew point min/max, wind chill and heat index values as well.

The Grand Poohbah:
Thanks for the screenshots. I'm also seeing it on my iPad (WeatherCat for iPad v2.2 160817) and iPhone (WeatherCat for iPhone v1.5 160725). The min and max values are provided by the host software (WeatherCat 2.4.1 in your case). I can't think of a good reason why the min/max would suddenly go wacky at the client level. Perhaps it's related to what version of host WeatherCat is being used.

Anyone else see this problem on clients accessing other versions of WeatherCat desktop software? Please include the WeatherCat version.

The Grand Poohbah:
Randall75 reports in another thread: "Today on my Macbook the WC Client is reading off on the the high marks for today are way out of range is anyone else see this but me?
All reading on the main WeatherCat are all correct just the Client is reading wrong."

So the min/max problem occurs with _all_ clients, not just the iOS clients. I think the "bug" is in the WeatherCat desktop software. It may clear itself up when the day changes. Major date changeovers can be like that. January 2 may bring correct min/max values. Let's see what happens after midnight.

He isn't supposed to answer that question on this forum. Let's take it over to the other one.
