Sorry you are having so much trouble with this. Honestly, I thought this couldn't go wrong, but obviously that was optimism on my part. Scratching my head I have a few more suggestions - if far fetched.
- Try running Disk First Aid or preferably TechTool Pro on your system hard drive to make sure there is no file system corruption. These settings need to be stored somewhere on the hard drive, perhaps the problem is storing the authorization.
- After step-1, uninstall and reinstall and authorize the driver once more. However, this time open the Console application and look for any messages that might appear there. Perhaps an error will be logged that will help you diagnose the problem.
Beyond that you might have to search for help beyond our forum. Since this is an issue that any Davis user might encounter, you might try WXForum:
