Wind Direction
« on: April 02, 2016, 04:28:27 PM »
Currently the NOAA Style Reports use Dominant Wind whilst all other reports use Average Wind for reporting direction. Dominant Wind is probably a more complete and accurate method of tracking direction. However, it may still be of value, or at least interesting, to report both. I suggest that for consistency, all reports use Dominant. However, if possible, could we we have one report still give us Average? If there is room, it would be ideal to report both on one report.

Thanks for your consideration.
