Dear WeatherCat fans,
Some of you may not know that this forum has a "sister" of sorts:
MacWeather.net. MacWeather.net was first created by the longtime fans of WeatherCat's predecessor: LWC. When LWC was discontinued abruptly last August, we created MacWeather to keep that user-community alive and to preserve the many tricks, tips, and good ideas we all collected over the years of using LWC.
Stu has expressed support for MacWeather becoming something new: an open and as unbiased as we can make it place to discuss matters related to Macs and weather. Right now it still has a very strong LWC bias, but that's a real benefit for you'all. There are some very helpful troubleshooting guides and other tips that will enhance your WeatherCat experience. It also has a lot of information on Weather Station maintenance and setup. Some info on customizing instruments and more.
It is also a place were you can discuss more general topics like . . . . the "interesting" winter we are having
, weather photography,
, amateur astronomy, and even some car-talk from time to time.
.
So if you like what you see here on the WeatherCat forum, do come by and visit MacWeather as well. We'd love to have you there too!
Cheers, Edouard
