Thank you very much for your quick responses
actually I already watch the template leuven
too full for me
I really research the simplest website
gauges (1page)
emulation of the console (page 2)
if possible diecte reading measures (page 3)
example below
One of the lesser known features of the Leuven-Template is best illustrated with some exemplaes:
http://www.weerstation-wilsele.be/index.php?p=console&lang=fr&ipador
http://www.weerstation-wilsele.be/index.php?p=gaugePage&lang=fr&ipadThe "ipad" option (sorry for the name) wich translates to:
Use only the center piece of information inside your own pages, skip all other partsLet me do the work of extending and error removal of all general parts.
You build your own weather-website and use Joomla or plain html or Saratoga or whatever.
When you want to use one of the (100+) components from the Leuven-Template you use an iframe and the link to a Leuven-page with the ipad option.
All other things like borders-colors and header-background are in separate CSS-files and can easily be modified to match your own main site.
You choose one of the dozen different color-schemes or adapt one to your liking.
Example if you want a forecast:
1. Choose 1 from at least 5 for your region.
2. Choose the parts you want to display: data tables - meteogram - icons
3. Choose which parts should have their own area on the page and which ones should be combined behind tabs.
4. Choose if you want a selection box to select forecasts for other areas or not
5. add the ipad option to the URL
and use that forecast as you want on your own site..
Nearly nobody will recognize it is a Leuven page. Every of your visitors will see a weather-forecast nicely fitting in your own personal weather-station page.
=== My " conclusion "
If you want to adapt two or more "difficult" scripts to be integrated in your own website, it is easier to install the Leuven-Template release 2.8.
The total installation of the Leuven-Template can be done by me. I only need a (temporary) FTP-userid and password.
>80% of the settings can be done by me when you have a current website.
You can have the best of both worlds,
1. Spend all your time creating the specific PWS parts on your site
and2. use all "general" parts adapted in size and colors to your environment, from Leuven.
