Title: 'New Member'
Post by: gb509 on March 23, 2012, 11:45:20 PM
Hi to all, just browsing regarding any news on weather station software after finally recently upgrading my main computer to Lion and stumbled over reference to 'the cat'. Delighted to hear that Stu is well and has embarked on a new route. I tried LWC with Mountain Lion and found that all graphs were blank although software did not crash so was fearing the worst.
I have Davis Vantage Pro2 with daytime FARS and Solar /UV still on the last build of LWC and now on Lion 10.7.3 underground ID IGREATER38 Madis D6143. Have webcam but never got that figured out with LWC but am uploading an image to wunderground.
Looking forward to try the new software!

Dear gb509 and . . . . (http://www.canebas.org/Weather/LWC_forum/Custom_emoticons/welcome_smiley.gif)

Hmm, interesting.  I wonder what Mountain Lion does that messes up the works with the graphs.  I suspect that Stu won't be amused about this! (http://www.canebas.org/Weather/LWC_forum/Custom_emoticons/rant.gif)

You've got plenty of company with the Davis setup!   [cheer]

Which camera have you tried to use for the webcam?  I got a "run of the mill" Logitech and it just worked the first time I tried it.  Perhaps we can help you troubleshoot that one.

Again welcome and thanks for exploring yet another "cat"  [cat] (Mountain Lion) for us!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Welcome to the WeatherCat forum, gb509!

It will be interesting to see how WeatherCat works with the development version of Mountain Lion.
